Control How a Shared Link Looks
Metadata Relay lets you choose the picture, title and description a link shows when it is shared in a chat or a social post, whatever the destination page says about itself. It is included from the Pro plan up.
Built to Be Trusted
A short link hides where it goes, so Rus.sh checks the link before anyone clicks it.
- Every destination is checked for malware and phishing before a link goes live.
- Link endings built from phishing bait, such as sign-in prompts or the names of the most impersonated brands, are refused, including look-alike spellings.
- A retired link is never handed to someone else, so an old QR code cannot start pointing somewhere new.
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and visitor IP addresses are removed from analytics after 90 days.
- You can see and delete your data at any time.
An API for Your Own Tools
From the Pro plan up, you can create short links and QR codes from your own code with a REST API and an API key. The full reference is published as an OpenAPI document.

No. Links never expire by age, on every plan, including Free. If you want a link to stop on a date or after a number of clicks, paid plans let you set that yourself.
